26th November 2017. The day started in the best possible way. The cold morning breeze coming in through my window along with the shimmers of dawn, ushered in the day I've been waiting for nearly a year. It was time to bell the CAT! With all the confidence I had gained by scoring consistently well in my mocks, I looked forward to a helluva performance.

It was around this time last year that I started my preparations for CAT. I went through multiple blogs and articles to define my perfect study plan. Though there were multiple blogs on planning the preparation strategy for CAT, none gave a holistic view of the whole process. The main purpose of this blog is not to advise on how to crack the CAT but on how to get into an IIM. And the right time to read this article is while preparing for CAT.
If you do not attend offline coaching classes, the internet can become the most powerful tool for you to prepare for CAT 2018. There are some excellent (and free) resources out there for every aspirant who wants to get that 99+ percentile, but only a few know about them.
There are 100s of videos on how to stay motivated for studies on the Internet. There are people who would keep on watching those videos, one speaker after other. Similarly, there are multiple self-help books for cat and even Quora isn’t aloof with this trend. I would ask you one question if it really worked, why would a person look for multiple such videos or books or Quora answers?
