Highs and lows are a part of life and one must not get affected by lows rather learn from them and move on. Highs are for uplifting the spirits when one is down. There have been many such instances in my life where the negative thoughts have prevailed my mind and lead to an emotional state of mind. Last time it was a year before after completing my graduation when I was contemplating my options for post-graduation, my parents were really apprehensive about my career choices as after commerce I changed my field to literature. Later, when I was confused between Public Relations and MBA, the situation at home became unhealthy as there were a lot of clashes between me and my parents. And me taking a year gap wasn’t sufficing the purpose as well. Peer pressure also came in as all my batch-mates and friends moved on and pursued their post-graduation which somewhere in the back of my mind did hit me. All these bottled up feelings were making me frequently emotional and frustrated. So, just one day I thought that I have to gather myself up and set my priorities straight. In order to do that I started writing all my feelings in the notebook and goals, I have in my life. Early morning walks were really helpful as at that mind used be fresh and I could think through better. Cutting down on social media seemed like a big thing but I did do it to ensure that I don’t get affected with other's progress as the goals they have are different from mine. After 2 weeks I was able to see the change in routine, optimism was my thought process. Then after a few sessions of career counselling, I made up mind to pursue an MBA. But this time taught me the importance of patience and perseverance. It also taught me that one must never lose hope as things will fall in place sometimes when you expect them to be and sometimes after you have given up.

I had no idea how much of an effect Aditya Birla Group has already had on my life. A prime example for the same is related to one of my favourite past-time i.e. travelling. I have travelled on roads to reach destinations and live in hotels, all constructed by UltraTech Cement under the Aditya Birla Group. There I have worn clothes from Louis Philippe or Allen Solly to look cool while roaming around or going to local clubs for partying. I have called my friends over, using the Idea network or Whatsapped them my travel pics using the 4G services provided. I have taken life insurance from Aditya Birla Group to make sure if something may happen to me in my travels or otherwise, my family may still have some financial stability. I have eaten great food in the restaurants that was cooked in some form due to the presence of Aditya Birla Group in the Agribusiness. I have travelled in trains, that would have insulators in the railway electrification, provided by the Aditya Birla Group which provides peace of mind due the security it signifies and that makes my travel even smoother. All of this shows how much Aditya Birla Group has helped me in my passion for traveling, which is a very small part of my whole life. If we look at the larger picture, we will see that the part Aditya Birla Group has played in my life is only greater.
