I am pursuing my MBA from IIM Raipur, but earlier I was just an ordinary commerce student looking for jobs in various sectors having no clue about what I should do in Life and what career should I pursue. Having no plan is the worst feeling ever for any person who dreams of making It big for himself, I was completely clueless and then I landed an interview with a MNC bank and I was able to ace the interview and working there still made me feel like I was missing something, I wanted to something else. I wanted to do something much more and decide on things which make impact. I always used to tailor my formal clothes from a local shop and attending meeting in clothes as such with Vice-president of the bank made me feel like I was missing the most important ingredient in life. A man’s clothes defines his attitude and the way people treat you and how you carry yourself and I decided I need to get myself well dressed for the job. I went to a Shopper Stop to get some Formal Clothes for myself and the brand which I liked the most was Louis Philippe, the brand has changed me as a person. I started to get a confidence boost and making talking to people across different departments and It was suggested by my seniors that I should pursue an MBA from an reputed college. I gave my CAT exams, I was so confident of getting through I left my job 1 month before the exams. I got shortlisted for interviews of IIM’s. A man’s clothes defines his personality and I remember I was wearing a Suit which I would have never bought if I was still stuck with the local tailor. I was confident that I will do best in my interview I got the questions parts covered my suit got the personality part covered. I did my best and got into an IIM.
