Commitment - Peter England, MDI Gurgaon

Commitment - Peter England, MDI Gurgaon

I still remember, Peter England is the first brand of which I bought formal cloths in Bengaluru. Staying away from home and without any help in choice selection, this was only brand out of the multiple brands in the outlet which was in my budget. A month had passed only of my professional career and there was an urgent need for me to buy formal cloths. On that day, I bought three shirts and two trousers. The price and quality of the clothes was good that still today when there is need to buy formal clothes, Peter England is on top of my list. The size and color of the product is the only restriction if they are not available in store. That day was the first stepping stone of the relationship that I have built with Peter England as it was like a savior for me at that time. This relationship is the result of the commitment that Peter England has provided to me. The commitment of fine quality, affordable price, size and color which forces me to think that when the required size of the particular shirt is not available, the shirt is already a part of relationship of another men with Peter England or has become the stepping stone of the new one. These relationships has made Peter England as one of the most trusted brand in Indian Market which is standing huge and tall in today’s competition for last 20 years.

How did I rediscover myself - MDI, Gurgaon

How did I rediscover myself - MDI, Gurgaon

Being an active kid since my childhood, I had raised the bar of expectations by participating in the International Karate & Kick-Boxing Championship at the early age of 11 years. Doing well in academics as well as extra curricular activities, I was always looked up on with appreciation in my extended family. However, come Secondary School and my grades started falling as was my participation in extra curricular activities. Until I realized this, I had already completed my schooling and had become a careless, casual person who just played around with friends. This was a reality check for me when I looked back and realized that I had become an average teenager from being an enthusiastic and bright kid. I realized I made some wrong friendships along the way, due to which I lost my focus and direction.

Taking the last trip of my under graduation, I landed in Mumbai-the city of dreams. All dressed up in my new Pantaloon dress, I set out with my girl gang to explore the Aamchi Mumbai. Even at 12 in the night the city buzzed with activity as we crossed the Bandra-Worli Sea link to reach the Gateway of India from Lokhandwala. Constructed using the UltraTech Cement, it was a sight to behold. The sheer massiveness and the beauty of its architecture was something I had never witnessed in India. I felt bad that my parents could not be there with me to witness the world famous sea link. But all thanks to my Vodafone Idea network, I was able to video call my parents and show them also the surreal sight in front of me. Even at Nariman Point, I could do the same without the fear of my phone screen breaking because I knew Hindalco Aluminium was protecting my Smartphone’s cover glass. The 1000 miles distance between my parents and me seemed to disappear.

LESSONS FROM ADITYA BIRLA GROUP'S PHILOSOPHY

Ultratech, Grasim, Hindalco, Idea and Pantaloons. These are not just one of India’s largest conglomerate’s brands. They signify much more than that. They represent independent India’s diverse values: modern without sacrificing traditional values, fulfilling their economic responsibility towards shareholders without surrendering the sense of public duty, gracious to invited guests and strangers alike.
