FINDING OPPORTUNITIES IN CHALLENGES _IMI NEW DELHI

Till now, I have learned that every new day in life is filled with new opportunities. But with these opportunities, comes challenges which can never be ignored. One can either skip these opportunities or face the challenge and grab the opportunity. I prefer going with the second option that is facing the challenge. The basic mantra for me while facing a challenge is to become proactive. Most of the times, what people generally tend to do is that they stress more on the occurrence of the problem and also going with the flow. Instead of this they should go for a pragmatic approach to face the challenge, do some brainstorming so as to get out of a particular challenge. Another problem that comes while achieving a goal is that of thinking about the big picture or final target. Every day, after working towards our goal we tend to compare the day’s progress with our ultimate target and when we find ourselves performing less than the par, we start losing motivation and get distracted from the goal. The problem here is that we are focusing too much on the main goal. Although the ultimate destination is to reach our determined target but we also need to create small targets that we can achieve on a short period and is achievable within a stipulated time. I will explain this situation with my own example. Few years, back when I started working out, my weight was 65kg and my aim was to reach 80kg. During my initial months, I saw a little progress, which was 3kg increase in my weight. I wasn’t satisfied with the results and felt like quitting. That was the time when my trainer told me to make small monthly target and he also advised me to compare my present results with my past, so as to analyse my overall progress and to see how far I have come since the start of my fitness journey. It took me 2 years to get to my idol weight and achieve the physique of my choice. From my fitness journey, I not only learned about setting up small targets along with main target (where we finally want to reach) but also about the power of being consistent. This is how I overcame the problems that I faced and grew as a person.

Since the day I started my college life, my interest in clothing increased. After Pantaloons the next name that comes in my mind is Peter England, which deals with formal wear and before joining my bschool, I did my shopping from here. The suits available here are of high grade quality. And as I mentioned bschool, I can’t miss to mention my laptop bag of Ted Baker London, another brand of ABG. This bag fulfils most of my needs like college, travelling, etc. ABG has not only solved my clothing needs for college and outing but it has also provided me with a huge range for wedding and party purpose clothing. I can’t stress more upon the brands like Van Heusen and Louis Philippe, whose clothes are good enough to give you a luxurious feeling. The suits that I bought from these brands are comfortable to wear and the fabric that is used in these clothes is of high quality. Overall what I believe is, that my clothing life is always incomplete without ABG, because it has impressed me by fulfilling my clothing needs and broadened my horizon for the same

It is amazing how they understand consumers changing needs and fashion and we do not feel we have to go someplace else. The formals shirts are particularly amazing. They are fancy and classy at the same time. The accessories are also very trendy and I love how close by Pantaloon showrooms are!
