Aditya Birla is a big and widely known conglomerate with a wide range of businesses. It was one of the first conglomerates which put India in the global industrial map right from the year 1857 and it has sustained for more than 150 years due its strong core values – Integrity, Commitment, Passion, Seamlessness and speed. It is into such a wide range of businesses that it is highly improbable that it will not leave a mark in my life.

How Aditya Birla group is unique
Aditya Birla Group is one of India’s largest conglomerates and also claims to be the most international of the country’s major corporations. The company acts as a holding company for more than 72 manufacturing and services subsidiaries throughout India, and in Thailand, Indonesia, the Philippines, Malaysia, Australia, China, Egypt, and Canada. I came to know about the company through my Industrial analysis subject. During independence, the Birla family became important supporters of the independence movement which were led by Mahatma Gandhi. The best part about ABG is that it has its unique way of streamlining operations, regrouping various industrial operations into a more coherent structure. I am kind of a shopaholic person but the major issue in a student’s life is money constraints. Pantaloons is my go-to place all the time.

Starting from the very basic necessity of everybody’s life, the smartphone and its powerhouse, i.e.: Sim Card. I have been with Idea Cellular for past 8 years. At times, I have seen my friends struggling with network issues roaming here and there. Being with Idea Cellular, always provides me the liberty to be anywhere, without having to think of network issues. Also, Idea has always been the leader as far as low cost leadership is concerned and all other major telecom players following suite.
