Aditya Birla has been changing and touching people’s life  since 1857. The Aditya Birla Group’s brand I love and also happened to have a great impact not just on my life but lives of millions of Indians is Idea Cellular. My memory of Idea goes back when campaign “What an IDEA, Sirji!” started. The campaigns focused on social and environmental issues like the Caste War, Disability to Communicate, Education, Democracy , Health and Green Earth respectively with campaigns  such as 'Championing a world without caste'; 'Championing a world in which no one suffers from the disability to communicate'; 'Education for All', 'Participative Governance',  'Walk When You Talk' and “Use Mobile, Save Paper' . Being Marketing Enthusiast I just loved the way how Idea to touched common man’s life issues with an advertising campaign. With merger with Vodafone , Vodafone Idea limited is the largest player in Indian Cellular Industry by subscriber and revenue . Vodafone Idea has the best network since initiation and played a crucial role in developing country’s cellular communication infrastructure, today millions of Indians have access to internet because of this . Idea thus impacted life of many Indian with providing reliable, uninterrupted network which played crucial role in India’s development , connecting with the world and inspiring  young generation by providing exposure to outside world . Many Entrepreneur riding on this internet and communication growth are now starting new enterprises and aspiring to become successful businessmen . Such an extend of impact , that Idea proved to be a catalyst to aspiring generation of New Young India . What An Impact, Sirji !!

If I had to pick one from Aditya Birla’s plethora

If I had to pick one from Aditya Birla’s plethora of product lines that made a huge impact in my life, it would definitely be their apparel line. The brands under the apparel line are not just brands, but their emotions we have grown up with. Louis Philippe, Allen Solly, Van Heusen, Peter England express our emotions that we relate to all our life. These brands immediately pull me to my father. All my life, I have seen my father stay loyal to these brands. We can have a string of options in front of us, he would choose these brands no matter what. We have always looked up to our fathers, and our fathers tell us what is good and bad. My father stuck to quality and brand , and that is what has made him stick to Louis Philippe, Allen Solly, Van Heusen and Peter England. They have always stood as an example of what a premium product is. The most overwhelming irony to this childhood memory of Aditya Birla products, is when I was able to gift the same to my father with the first salary I drew! I was able to get my father something he considered dear to his heart, something exquisite, something I grew up thinking was a premium product, I could gift to my father.

Aditya Birla Group is one of India's largest conglomerates and also claims to be the most international of the country's major corporations. The company acts as a holding company for more than 72 manufacturing and services subsidiaries throughout India, and in Thailand, Indonesia, the Philippines, Malaysia, Australia, China, Egypt, and Canada. I came to know about the company through my Industrial analysis subject. During independence, the Birla family became important supporters of the independence movement which were led by Mahatma Gandhi. The best part about ABG is that it has its unique way of streamlining operations, regrouping various industrial operations into a more coherent structure. I am kind of a shopaholic person but the major issue in a student’s life is money constraints. Pantaloons is my go-to place all the time.
