There is a thing about Birlas...
The year was 2016....when I did join my first job in Birla Corporation a.k.a the MP Birla Group, being a civil engineer I was working in the cement division. As far a my region was concerned we were the market leaders there with an unbeatable market share. Call it the legacy or the quality but the trust that we had from our customers and channel networks was the key to our success. As it is said Birla- Naam hi kaafi hai...customers had our trust and we had there's. Be it our premium product or our basic product we were leading in every category. As a result we took over the Reliance cement industries as well and that's how we increased our capacity and reach. And now I was working for 3 products. Later that year there was a sudden buzz about Aditya Birla Group entering that market with their product which is called the Ultratech cement. And since I was new to the industry I was still in the learning process about it that's when I came to know that Aditya Birla are the market giants and whichever market they enter they always become the market leaders in it. We were working very hard to retain and sustain what we had and to increase it step by step. Soon the time came when they officially entered out region but we were all prepared for the Birla meets Birla battle. We had a tough competition from them because they have a very unique marketing and pricing strategy but if they had what they, we also had what we had...I went to meet one of our channel partners to discuss the schemes he was as impressed with them as he was with us...and said...."There is a thing about Birlas", you enjoy working with them. Since then Aditya Birla Group has always been a very inspiring name for me.
