ABGLP has played a crucial role in all stages of my life from my childhood to the point where I had to start taking responsibilities. The smiley on the freshwrapp packing whenever my mother used to pack my food always left a positive impression to the start of my day. As a family, we have been going to the pantaloons store for the wide range of clothing and the experience that the store provided. Whenever I have to buy clothes be it for interviews, any special occasion or casual clothes, I end up going to one of the brands of Aditya Birla Group. The main reason in addition to the customer experience is the variety of clothes that they offer catering to my demand. The quality of product that Aditya Birla Group has provided in each of its products has impressed me a lot and that is the reason why I respect this brand. I feel connected and inspired by the rising sun as the logo of the group depicting the permanence, vigour, zeal to rise along with simplicity associated. The contribution of the group back to the society in the form healthcare, education, sustainable livelihood and infrastructure projects has been commendable and a motivation for everyone. The group along with providing thousands of jobs in its industries has been constantly working to improve the lifestyle of rural India and has accomplished in reaching out to more than 7.5 million people in 5000 villages by operating 20 hospitals and 56 schools in total.

DMS, IIT Delhi has successfully completed the final placement season for the batch of 2017-19, with the students receiving a record 128 offers during the course of the season. The students were placed in various organisations across all domains, with the average CTC offered seeing an upward trend.

   In year 1857, laying the foundation for House of Birla, Seth Shiv Narayan Birla started trading cotton from Pilani, Rajasthan, there by train to Bombay for export to England and other countries. He was one of the early Indian traders to participate in this cotton trade. Later in early part of 20th century, the Group’s founding father, Mr. Ghanshyam Das Birla, a member of the Maheshwari Marwari community, set up industries in India. Mr. Ghanshyam Das Birla was a close friend of Mahatma Gandhi and played an active role in the Indian freedom struggle. Moreover, he represented India at the first and second round-table conferences in London, along with Gandhiji.
