Every child in this world has a dream to achieve something. And somehow, as time goes on, his/her dream faces a lot of challenges. And I would say that I had no clear vision as to who I would want to be during my school days or I would say even during the beginning of my college days I had little idea. All I knew was I would be ending up in a software company. I knew that the scope of growth was quite less. I then wanted to see myself as a manger/consultant where the job roles are challenging and the responsibilities are quite high. Since I had a vision for the first time, there are a lot of qualities which I need to inculcate.

There are thousands of companies which tries to create an impact in the day-to-day lives of the people. Only a few are successful in doing that. When I was given this topic, I was wondering, “What did Aditya Birla Group do to impact my life?” Since I was confused, I called my friend. I just realized the first touch of Aditya Birla Group. I am using Idea sim which then made me think what else is Aditya Birla Group into.

A $44 billion conglomerate, Aditya Birla Group is transforming Indian market through its subsidiaries. The marketing campaign of Aditya Birla subsidiaries is something which I can connect to & inspires me to be best version of yourself.

Challenges in my life

Unlike IT industry, the core industry does not carry equal proportionate of male and female ratio. Subsequently I had to strive hard to mark my presence in my job as Process Engineer in TechnipFMC, Chennai having graduated in Chemical Engineering from SSN College of Engineering. Sheer hard-work and perseverance paved way for my success in the organisation where I was given additional responsibilities and expected to perform due to my capabilities. Later, I started developing passion to become a HR Manager having interacted with HR department and understanding the nature of their job. Having gained 2 years of core work experience, I was in a dilemma to either continue as a Process Engineer or to quit my job and pursue a career in Human Resource, a field in which I had no prior experience. Having analysed the pros and cons, I chose the road not taken, to prepare for MBA while on the job. My passion for HR drove me to work 12 hours and study 3 hours at night for MBA. A year of sleepless nights and hard work made me crack NMAT exam with 210 marks. Nervousness turned into happiness having cleared the cutoff by just one mark. Too many thoughts ran in my mind on how to outperform students with a higher NMAT score to get a call for CD/PI process. This urged me to prepare even harder for the selection process and finally convert call and get admitted in the MBA HR program of NMIMS Mumbai. #NMIMSMumbai #ABGLPWooMe
