Life so far has been full of opportunities, failures, learning and a fair share of wins. I have had the opportunity to live in five different cities in the last 7 years. My first transition from a convent school in Chandigarh to my college in Dehradun was the biggest culture shock of my life. However, good opportunities and the best bunch of friends helped me sail through the 4 years of my engineering as if they were just a few seconds! Fast forward from my college years, and I landed in the city of dreams, Mumbai – I have always loved to call it “Bombae” for obvious reasons. The one year I spent in Mumbai was full of so many firsts – my first job, the first salary, first time of managing my own expenses, and the first time I got myself a birthday gift from Forever 21. That birthday dress is still the number one in the list of favorites.

Aditya Birla: A tutor you never asked for - Milin Tolat, NMIMS Mumbai
Last year, I received a mail for the CD-PI round from NMIMS, Mumbai-the attire for which I was expected to be in was full business formals. I was asked to report for the same on 01 Feb in the Mumbai Campus. I initially wanted to get one tailor made but due to the time and monetary constraints, I had no choice but to go for a readymade suit. Also, the suit couldn’t be stitched before the interview date in lieu of extensive orders. I was looking for a brand that provided quality at affordable price which led me to Peter England. I bought the suit and was happy to find the right fit, color, fabric and all of this at a reasonable price. I cleared the CD-PI process with flying colors wearing that same suit and took admission there.

I am one of the millions lives that Aditya Birla group having 1,20,000 employees worldwide has impacted. The company holds a really special place in my life there are a lot of incidents that come into my mind while thinking about how ABG has impacted my life. To state one of them I would want to tell how pantaloons a fashion retail store by Aditya Birla Group made my small moment a special one for me and my mother. I have been born and brought up in a family where both my parents are working, my dad being in profession that required travelling a lot, due to which both the roles of a dad and mom were done by my mother which she did with a constant smile on her face.
