This year saw a considerable rise in the number of recruiting partners aggregating a total 1800+ opportunities across diversified fields and sectors. Marketing. as a specialization saw the highest recruitment amongst other areas like Human Resources, Finance and Operations.

MHRM- IIT Kharagpur gave another stellar performance this year when it completed its summer placements for the Batch 2015-2017. Being one of the few specialized HR course in the country, MHRM saw its placement season reflecting the faith reposed by the corporate world in our student.MHRM has done a fabulous job placing 16 students in some of the top companies in India. Notably, the IT and Manufacturing sector offers stand out.The observation being that many of these internships can also translate into full-time roles.Round 2 for the summer placements has already started even before the end semester examination of the IIT kharagpur.

Indian Institute of Management Udaipur is happy to announce the successful completion of its summer placement season for the PGP Batch 2015-17 of its flagship Post Graduate Programme (PGP). PGP batch of 2015-17 is the largest batch the institute has seen in its flagship course so far consisting of 144 students and hosting a slew of 41 companies accomplished the task of 100% placements within 7.5 placement days from the initiation of the process. The placement process saw involvement of 125 students with 10 students opting out of the process with entrepreneurial ambitions. These aspiring students will receive a stipend of INR 20,000 from the institute to assist them on their journey to becoming leading entrepreneurs of the country. The remaining 9 students succeeded in bagging lucrative off-campus placements. The high diversity in the batch profile was a treat for the recruiters as they had a huge variety of profiles to select students as per the job profiles. The PGP 2015-17 batch has 88% students with previous work experience with an average work experience of 27 months. The highest domestic package offered is an attractive sum of INR 1,20,000 and the highest international package offered was 8000 AED. The stipends do not include travel and accommodation benefits which will be received by the students while on summer internship. This year the campus saw the influx of new recruiters like Snapdeal, GirnarSoft, Fidelity Investments, Lexicon Securities, Naukri, Techprocess, Droom, Tempawala, VF Corp and VKL Spices. The addition of new recruiters is a testament of the institute’s tremendous growth year on year. Old recruiters like General Electric India, Titan, JSPL, Amul, ICICI, YES Bank, United Breweries, WIPRO, Cummins, Genpact, HPCL, Bosch, Deloitte and others also arrived on campus giving out offers to more number of students as compared to previous years. The institute takes great pride in acknowledging the faith shown by recruiters in the students as none of the companies returned without giving an offer. The campus recruitment process became a hub of talent for the top ranking e-commerce companies like Snapdeal, GirnarSoft and Tempawala.com among others, who recruited 33 students. The banking and finance sector showed a huge growth with companies like General Electric India and Crisil along with others hiring 23 students. In terms of roles offered the sales and marketing profile was the most sought after as 46 students opted for some of the most exciting roles. Other domains for summer internship include operations, consulting, ITes, etc. The campus played host to 2 international companies- NMC HealthCare and XpressMoney. The highest domestic PPO was INR 13 Lakh plus. Some of the corporates which offered PPOs at FORE were Asian Paints, Hector Beverages, Genpact, KPMG, Cap Gemini, Hero MotoCorp, L&T Finance.
