It has many renowned businesses including Vodafone, Ultra Tech being a few. It started its journey even before India got independence and has grown from strength to strength since then. It started its first business in the 20th century form the textile industry and has now expanded to the telecom industry, the financial services industry, Fashion, etc. It has played a major role in contributing to the Indian economy since Independence and many of its products and services are common household names. It has been successful in its mission to be a premium global conglomerate with a clear focus on each business. Each of its business arms is in the top 5 or 10 of that sector in terms of brand value and market share. Its strong brand equity along with strong product innovation and effective leadership has ensured they deliver superior value to their shareholders, employees, customers and most importantly to the society as a whole.

Aditya Birla group products are included in my day to day routine. Be it my home which is made from Aditya Birla cement or be it railway travels where Aditya Birla supplies a substantial amount of copper to Indian railways in which we travel a lot. I bought my first sim card of Idea when I went for my graduation away from home. Their services were pretty good, and I used it all the time during my graduation. Their reach is widespread so that I can go to remote villages for my social work-related tasks. I am always interested in helping poor people, and I always go to communities to learn about their issues and find ways to help them. After my graduation, I felt like something is missing in my education where I thought of my MBA, and then I prepared for CAT. I took coaching for three months after my graduation and sat for the examination. And on results days all the hard work pays off, and I got selected for IIM Rohtak.
