The SIBM Pune Final Placements 2020 report has been released! The MBA batch of 2018-2020 at SIBM Pune received a total of 186 offers, and the placements process saw participation from top recruiters like Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, AB-InBev, P&G, Aditya Birla Group, Reliance Industries Limited and Flipkart, amongst others. Choudhury Neha Dash always thought that the steel industry is not meant for her as she has seen her father spending all his life working for a steel company. Belonging to Odisha, Neha always wanted to be in a workplace where she could explore new ideas and implement them. After her MBA days in IIM Indore, she came across the opportunities available at Tata Steel and after undergoing her internship, she was quite sure that she would like to be part of the thriving culture of Tata Steel and work alongside the brands that have been in the market for over a century.
We hear about these mysterious creatures called product managers every now and then. We know they exist, and we aspire to be one of them. But we have no idea who they are and what they do? And forget reading about them in the b-school. In this interview, we were able to catch hold of one such evolved being. His name is Gautam Chaudhari. He started his journey in IIM Ahmedabad (Batch of 2011-13). His first job was with Reliance Jio, where he was the Product Manager of Jio Chat. After the launch of the product, he moved to a growing startup called CarWale. Within his second project, he got promoted to Associate Vice President (Product). He is now a team-lead of 7+ product managers and guides them to a successful future. Read about his full story here.

Abhay Shankar did his B.Tech from Delhi College of Engineering. For his final year project, he made a wheelchair prototype that moves without any touch. The wheelchair is guided by the simple eye-movement of the patient. For this, his team got a grant of Rs. 1.5 Cr. He juggled this project along with his job, which was quite taxing. Ultimately, he decided to pursue an MBA, so that he could get the relevant skills, to be able to make a business model out of his idea, to be able to pitch his project to potential investors and much more.
The NITIE Mumbai Final Placements 2020 report has been released by the institute! NITIE has had an immensely successful placements season for the PGDIM and PGDISEM batch of 2018-2020, seeing participation from 121 recruiters to hire 253 participants.
