Freshwrapp - A Nostalgic Journey - Aaron Rodrigues, SIBM Pune
One of the products of Aditya Birla group of Companies closest to my heart is from the Hindalco Group and that is the brand of Fresh Wrapp The brand has always reminded me of one thing and that is home , Especially of one of my most favourite individuals in the world and that is my Mom , and the very sound of the aluminium foil being wrapped meant happiness because It meant that my dearest Mom had wrapped in one of my most favourite dishes in the world and that is her parathas, I always remember having the aluminium packet always after being used was then used by us school children to play our favourite game of cricket after having wrapped it into a ball before being thrown into a dustbin , School came to an end and college began and that wrapper still carries many memories because being in Mumbai , a city that never sleeps meant that I had to have my breakfast on the go and so I remember running for the morning bus with my college bag on my shoulders and my sandwiches wrapped in the foil after which the ball of foil was used to test my throwing skills seeing how well I could aim it into the dustbin nearby (A practice I would not recommend for any of my friends) I finished my graduation and the tin foil still hasn’t left by my side now that I have come to SIBM Pune to pursue my MBA, but this time it means Good news as it carries my parathas and things that make me nostalgic , the nostalgia of home , every time there is an aluminium foil entering my hostel room it disappears behind the devouring faces of all my roommate To be honest Aditya Birla Group has had many products which may have helped me but this one is the one that has a soft corner in my heart because it does remind of the one closest to my heart , My Mom , Let me tell you one incident however that somehow has made Freshwrapp, even more memorable to me than it ever has before, Being a volunteer to teach the orphaned children in my parish, one night we had decided to spend an entire night with them, At night we decided to make some burgers on a charcoal burner, On account of us volunteering each of the ones who took part in the activity received an extra burger to carry home , which we had wrapped in our respective Freshwrapp foils , On the next day, Our superior told us this story , On his return he was sitting at the bus stop awaiting the bus and he saw a man in tattered clothes , who stared hungrily at the aluminium foiled hamburger in his hand , Realizing that he might be hungry my superior decided to give him the burger, On receiving the burger the man whistled out , Slowly but surely five children came running towards him as he divided the burger into 5 different parts as they wolfed down the entire burger , I think that those children may have barely got something to eat but my senior told me that they did look satisfied , In the end Freshwrapp not only managed to keep food fresh, but also keep refresh a starving family of six
