The Constant In My Life - Aditya Birla Group - Neha Jain, MDI Gurgaon

Aditya Birla Group manufactures various products which have an impact on our lives in multifarious ways. It had been a part of my life even at the early stages of my childhood when I did not know what Aditya Birla Group was. Our home was built using UltraTech cement. It was strong and safe just like my family bond. It helped build a perfect home for my family. My father is an engineer in the Ministry of Railways and has seen Birla Copper being used in trains. We installed ‘Idea network’ in the first mobile of our house to help us stay connected always - an idea that changed our lives. Our first family car had Birla Carbon nanoparticles in its tyres to ensure a safe journey.

No one expected the scion, Kumar Mangalam Birla, to break all barriers, records and limitations in the next 20 years. Today, the Aditya Birla Group is a world-renowned conglomerate with over 120,000 employees and a net value of $45 Billion Dollars. The new Aditya Birla group logo – the rising sun was a fitting symbol of the brand it had become.

“What if you wake up some day, and you’re 65, or 75, and you never got your memoir or novel written; or you didn’t go swimming in warm pools and oceans all those years because your thighs were jiggly and you had a nice big comfortable tummy; or you were just so strung out on perfectionism and people-pleasing that you forgot to have a big juicy creative life, of imagination and radical silliness and staring off into space like when you were a kid? It’s going to break your heart. Don’t let this happen.”
