Aditya Birla as a brand is active in 14 industry sectors and has achieved a global and national leadership across the businesses. Starting from Pantaloons to Freshwrapp to Ultratech cement it leaves its footprints in the everyday activity of all of us. It is an Indian company that has multinational conglomerate operates in 35 countries with more than 120,000 employees. It is the third largest Indian private sector after Tata Group with respect to revenue. Coming to the textile Industry, it has brought in various foreign brands to India like Allen Solley, Van Heusen. This has played a key role in expanding consumer choices in India with respect to clothing. It operates a multi brand fashion retail chain Pantaloons which it acquired from Future Group. Has also acquired exclusive online and offline rights to American fast fashion retailer Forever 21 in India. The ever challenging Ultratech cement has left its footprints in the construction and establishment of beautiful cities in India, which reminds of the beauty and culture our country has. Coming to telecom industry, it has played a group role in moving India towards digitization. Merger of Idea with Vodafone has enabled the company in getting larger segment of customers by coming up with economical packs. Its strong presence in life insurance, asset management, wealth management etc enables it to uplift the Indian mass and contribute towards to employment and development of the country. Apart from making business, improving economical condition of the country, it is very active in social services as well like providing mid-day meals at schools, running medical camps, providing immunization to kids of rural India, skill training and many more.
