Batch profile and key admission trends
First - what are the batch demographics and backgrounds of Plaksha students? What’s the average intake? How many folks with work experience end up joining the university? What does the gender ratio look like?
Here’s what the data says
- As the university has kept the intake quite small for the last 3 years, the exclusivity of the program has been increasing over the years.
- Plaksha strongly values gender diversity in its programs, and thus, has initiated many interventions to support more and more women to join its programs.
- The average age for recent batches is between 24 and 24.5.
Admissions data also shows how exclusive the TLP program really is. The program’s intake to applicants ratio hovers between 5-7%, which is as exclusive as some of the world’s top universities. The result? A classroom filled with the crème de la crème of India’s talent pool, and an unparalleled learning experience for all.
- In the past three years, a significant number of work-ex candidates apply for TLP as it allows them to make career transition into high growth areas like AI-ML, product, etc.
- The average work experience is in the range of 2 to 3.5 years.
